Rooted in Chicago and blossoming with purpose, Casa Intención is a queer and Latine-owned small business crafting more than just luxurious candles and curated home décor.

Our name, Intención, Spanish for intention, reflects our core belief: every creation and action should be infused with purpose and care. That belief sparked this journey.

Beyond exquisite scents and beautiful objects, Casa Intención is a space for community building and meaningful change. We envision a brand committed to doing everything with intention. When you choose Casa Intención, you’re not just acquiring a piece for your home. You’re investing in a vision rooted in quality, community, and tangible social impact.

We are deeply committed to giving back to the Chicago community that shaped us. That’s why 10% of our net profits are dedicated to local organizations. These are vital institutions that have personally supported us and continue to serve communities facing systemic injustice. This year, we aim to contribute $10,000 through this commitment and additional donations to The Center on Halstead.

     The causes close to our hearts include:

  • Supporting HIV outreach programs and the critical pursuit of a cure

  • Addressing homelessness within the LGBTQIA+ community, especially among those unhoused for living authentically

  • Creating products and fostering conversations that are both socially and environmentally responsible

  • Building community and actively driving positive social change
